Manifesto

Energy runs through
everything around us

What lies behind the visible part of our body: what you can't see in a mirror, what can't yet be precisely defined, but what we clearly feel — a person's energy.

Energy is a measure of motion and interaction of matter, the capacity to change and transform. It runs through reality, present in every object, situation, or person; its structure holds space and time within it, defining their degree of freedom and potential for transformation.

An energy portrait is a two-dimensional projection of a person's multidimensional energetic structure: thin strings connecting them to the surrounding reality, whose vibrations define their personal and creative code. It is a kind of crystal, holding their past and future, their potential for growth, and paths to self-realization.

An energy portrait is an invitation to resonate with this structure: a space where you can recognize your true self and feel your own potential for transformation.

Technique

Every portrait is born
in the silence of meditation

01

Attunement

Personal conversation, or a study of available material about the person — interviews, public appearances — when there's no chance to meet in person.

02

Meditation

An intuitive choice of forms and color. The state in which the first image is born.

03

Sketch

A pencil sketch on paper: contour, construction, axis, direction of movement.

04

Digital rendering

The scan is brought into Photoshop, forms are drawn and colored, then inverted — the white sheet becomes a black cosmic backdrop.

05

Final assembly

Every element is rendered in detail on its own layer, then layered together (a file with thousands of layers) and checked against the original sketch. Two to three weeks of work.

06

Materialization

Printed on photo paper, mounted onto aluminum.

An energy portrait is not static — it's a captured frame of a process that, by its very nature, is in constant motion around a central axis. Every portrait carries a built-in direction, a potential for unfolding — what it could still become.

Author

Anton Busygin

guide of PORTRENERGY · artist · creative director

In the profession since 1999 — more than twenty years of working with visual language, from brand identities to communications seen by millions. Founder of the branding agency 2SHARP.

He started drawing before he started doing design — ten years of art school, a father who was an artist-designer, hand-painting cars at a factory. At the core of the method isn't technique for its own sake, but a hand that learned from childhood to see form and color, turning intent into new ways of showing and seeing.

In recent years — a deep dive into psychology and emotional intelligence as the foundation of personal and organizational change.

"Energy portrait" is the point where all of this converges. The author calls himself not so much an artist as a guide: someone who tunes into a person's energy and translates it into form.

One of the first major materializations of the method — the talisman for the 2024 Games of the Future in Kazan, the firebird "Mira."
